I’ve shifted my goals during the ongoing pandemic from accomplishing to surviving, hopefully these tips inspire you to live in that adjustment too.

- Prioritize JOY: Make time for something you LOVE every day (no more saving things for Friday/the weekend)! Even if it’s only 10 minutes, hold some time in your daily schedule to bring yourself a smile. Make that commitment to your joy!
- Do the most: Go all out! Whether it’s a zoom gathering, your grocery run, or a solo drive, do it up big! Wear your favorite jewelry or undies, style your hair, spray that cologne. Stop waiting for a “special” moment, make everything an occasion.
- Get outside: For 30 minutes every day if you can, stroll, run, bike—whatever you enjoy! Wear your mask, keep a distance from other folks and breathe some fresh oxygen. Fit in what you can! Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have a half hour block, if all you’ve got is 10 minutes, take em!
- Cut down screen time: As we’re indoors more, people gravitate to electronic distractions like television & video games, add in our smart phones and quarantine is a recipe for extended screen time. For the sake of your eyes and your mind, take a break! There’s tons of other activities you can get into: reading physical books or *gasp* a newspaper, board games, knitting, drawing/coloring, cooking/baking, whatever!
- GIVE YOURSELF GRACE. Our brains are processing A LOT right now, the changes in your energy, interest, or productivity are par for the course. Give yourself a break! Sleep in, extend that timeline, move slow—the priority right now is to stay as alive and as well as possible.
